Goods train derails, train services disrupted

A goods train derailed at Sheorampur railway station in adjoining Chitrakoot district which affected train services on the single-line Allahabad- Jhansi route for over three hours, officials said.
Additional Superintendent of Police, Chitrakoot, R D Chauasia told PTI that the wagons jumped the rails all of a sudden leading to dislocation in movement of trains.

Chief Public Relations Officer of NF Railway Pranav Jyoti Sharma said three helpline numbers - 9002052957, 8585082833 and 03564-259935 - have been issued for information on the derailment and rescue and relief operations.
