Governor prorogues Punjab Assembly

The Punjab Assembly, which was adjourned sine-die on March 25 after the Budget session, was prorogued by an order of Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki.
Disclosing this here today, a Punjab Assembly spokesman said the Governor gave the order to this effect on April 17.
