Governor summons Mizoram Assembly from November 11

Mizoram governor Krishan Kant Paul today summoned the winter session of the Mizoram legislature to commence from November 11, additional secretary of the state assembly S R Zokhuma said.
Zokhuma told PTI that the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) chaired by the Speaker Hiphei would soon hold a meeting to chalk out detailed programme of the coming session.
State Finance department officials said that Finance minister Lalsawta was likely to present the full state budget during the winter session even as the state plan outlay for the current fiscal was yet to be allocated.
The officials said that the estimates of the scheme of financing for the current financial year (2014-15) had become clearer enabling them to prepare the budget estimates even as there were hardly four months during the current year.

Lalsawta had seek vote-on-account for two times - in March and July - due to non-finalisation of the state plan size by the centre.
