The gram pradhan identified as Mahavir Singh was arrested yesterday, police said, adding, gram sachiv Sudhir Kumar is still absconding.
A case was registered against the duo for misappropriation of government funds under MNREGA scheme at Ahroda village under Jansath police station on the direction of district magistrate 20 days ago.
Police said a search is underway to nab Kumar.
