Grocer murdered in Dholpur

A grocer has been strangulated to death allegdly by robbers who also fled with his cash and jewellry at Gadarpura area here, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Niroti Lal Garg, aged 60 years. He engaged in business of grocery items and had a big shop in the Lal Bazar, they said.
The exact amount of cash and jewellery stolen by the robbers yesterday was yet go be ascertained, police said, adding, the body has been sent for postmortem, while a forensic experts team was called in to investigate the case.
The robbers entered Garg's house after breaking in while he was sleeping alone in his room last night, they said, adding, other family members were seeping in other rooms.

The deceased was said to be associated with RSS local unit. Local market was closed in demand of arrest of the accused, the police said.
