Groundnut oil advances on sustained demand

Groundnut oil prices advanced at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein recovered due to good buying support from retailers coupled with firm Malaysian cues.
In non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial moved up further on steady demand from shippers and soap manufacturing units.
Meanwhile, linseedoil held steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil gained by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 775 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 765, and refined palmolein added by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 640 from Rs 637.

Moving to non-edible segment, castoroseeds bold rose by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,975 from previous close of Rs 3,950 and castor oil commercial went up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 825 as against Rs 820 yesterday. Linseedoil were unaltered at Rs 845 per 10 kg.
