Groundnut oil gains on sustained demand -(A)

Groundnut oil prices gained further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following sustained demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein continued its rally for the sixth consecutive session due to persistent offtake from retailers.
In the non-edibles, castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial rebounded owing to renewed offtake from soaps and shippers industries.
Linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large- scale buying.
In the edible section, groundnut oil rose by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 880 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 870 and refined palmolein climbed by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 718 against Rs 713 yesterday.

Moving to non-edible segment, castor seed bold regained by Rs 35 per 100 kg to Rs 4,200 from Rs 4,165 and castor oil commercial moved up by Rs 7 per 10kg to Rs 870 compared to Rs 863.
While, Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 850 per 10kg.
