Meanwhile, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial slipped due to lower offtake from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Linseed oil held stable in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible section, groundnut oil climbed by Rs 30 per 10kg to Rs 1,080 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,050 and refined palmolein moved up by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 585 from Rs 582 previously.
Among the non-edibles, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 3,110 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 3,125 and castor oil commercial edged down to Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 652 as against to Rs 655 yesterday.
