Groundnutoil rises on sustained demand

Groundnutoil rose at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained demand from stockists and retailers.
However, linseedoil fell further on subdued demand from paint and allied industries.
All other commodities ruled steady in the absence of any large scale buying.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil climbed by Rs 20 per 10kg to Rs 1,210 from Monday's closing level Rs 1,190. Refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 578 per 10 kg.
Moving to the non-edible segment, linseedoil dropped Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 1,250 as against Rs 1,270 yesterday.
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial were unaltered at Rs 3,225 per 100 kg and Rs 675 per 10 kg respectively.
