Gujarat State Fertilisers and Chemicals (GSFC) Ltd today reported a 16 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 156.41 crore for the quarter ended March.
Its net profit stood at Rs 187.02 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Total income, however, rose to Rs 2,085.63 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal from Rs 1,620.13 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
GSFC's net profit rose to Rs 475.73 crore during last fiscal from Rs 419.50 crore in the 2016-17 fiscal. Total income also rose to Rs 6,403.94 crore from Rs 5,533.53 crore during the period under the review.
