No formal complaint has been lodged either by the girl's parents or by the school authorities, police sources said.
"We have not received any complaint from anybody regarding any such incident. But today in the morning on knowing that guardians are demonstrating outside the school over some issue we have send a police team there," police sources said.
The agitating parents alleged that a six-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by a driver of the school bus last Monday while dropping her home from a venue where students were taken for a rehearsal for a school function.
"We want the authorities to react and issue an FIR and take necessary steps to ensure safety of our wards," another parent said.
