Guj min suffers cardiac arrest ahead of I-Day function; stable

Vaghela, who was putting up in Nadiad Circuit House, was scheduled to hoist the flag in Mahuda village of the district when he suffered a cardiac arrest in the wee hours, they said.

According to officials, Vaghela was rushed to Dharamsinh Desai Hospital where he successfully underwent angioplasty before being shifted to Ahmedabad in the evening.

"His condition is "stable" now," they said.
