Gur prices end steady on sporadic demand
Press Trust of India New Delhi The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market settled steady in the national capital today following sporadic demand amid sufficient stocks.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also remained silent at previous levels on little doing.
Marketmen said scattered buying support and reduced arrivals kept the gur prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,700-3,800, pedi Rs 4,100-4,200, dhayya Rs 4,200-4,300 and shakkar Rs 4,200-4,300.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,700-2,750, chakku Rs 3,300- 3,400, khurpa Rs N.Q. and Ladoo Rs N.Q.
