Gur prices flat in Delhi, decline in Muzaffarnagar, Muradnagar

The wholesale gur (jaggery) market ended quiet in the national capital today on scattered buying amid restricted supplies.
On the other hand, Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets showed a fall of up to Rs 100 per quintal due to sluggish demand.
Marketmen said weak demand due to off season amid ample stocks especially pulled down gur chakku in Muzaffarnagar and Pedi prices in Murad nagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku prices declined from Rs 2900-3,100 to end at Rs 2,850-3,000 per quintal.
At Muradnagar, gur Pedi prices slackened to finish at Rs 3,000-3,100 from Rs 3,100-3,200 per quintal.
