Gur steady on small buying

There was no change in the pattern of trading at wholesale Jaggery market here today as prices remained at the previous levels in the absence of any strong market moving factors.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also closed at the previous levels on little doings.
Marketmen said small buying support and restricted supply from manufacturing regions, mainly held the rates.
The following were today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,800-2,900, pedi 2,750-2,850, dhayya 2,900- 3,000 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,500-2,550, chakku 2,625-2,750, khurpa 2,450-2,500 and Ladoo 2,500-2,600.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,450-2,500 and dhayya 2,450-2,500.
