The doors of the shrine, located at a height of nearly 14,000 feet, were closed with rituals in the presence of Granthis and office bearers of Gurudwara management committee.
The shrine, which will reopen on June 21 next year, is closed every year in October-November as the area remains snow-bound during winter, a district official said.
Snowfall took place twice this week here, he said.
