Hundreds of academicians from all over the country and education ministers of 18 states will converge in Haridwar on November 3 for a two-day conference called "Gyankumbh" to deliberate on methods to enhance the quality of higher education in the country.

President Ram Nath Kovind will inaugurate the event to be held at 'Patanjali Yogpeeth', Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said at a press conference here Thursday.

About 1,800 delegates, including education ministers of states, education secretaries, policy makers, university vice chancellors, college principals, researchers and students, from all over the country will participate in the conference which will be divided into five sessions, he said.
