Haider Aziz Safwi made deputy speaker of Bengal assembly

Trinamool Congress MLA Haider Aziz Safwi was today unanimously elected as deputy speaker of the West Bengal Assembly.
His name was proposed by deputy leader of TMC legislative party Partha Chatterjee and was supported by legislative leaders of all the parties including main opposition party Congress.
Safwi after being elected as the deputy speaker said he wants cooperation from everybody.
Safwi and second time TMC MLA, was state correctional affairs minister in the first TMC government. Safwi is a former IPS officer who had held various important position during his service career.
