Handmade bombs explode near Khaleda Zia's office

Three handmade bombs have been exploded near former Bangladesh prime minister and opposition leader Khaleda Zia's office here despite heavy police presence in the area.
The blasts took place around 9:15 pm last night within 150 yards of the office, where the BNP chief has been living since January 3, bdnews24.Com reported.
About 50 police personnel have been posted around the office from from where she has been spearheading a nationwide blockade of roads, railways and waterways, triggering deadly unrest that has claimed at least 45 lives so far.
