Haryana Finance Minister Abhimanyu said the Pension Revision Committee that examined recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission for revision of pension has submitted its report to the Haryana government.
The committee had earlier been constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, P Raghavendra Rao, he said.
The state Government would now review the report of the committee and present it before the Cabinet, which would take the final decision after considering the recommendations, Abhimanyu said.
He claimed that Haryana was the first state to implement the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, and would soon grant pension on the basis of these recommendations.
