Haryana Government has constituted a four-member Special Investigation Team to probe a blast in a Haryana Roadways bus in Kurukshetra district today.
The team, headed by Additional Director General of Police (Crime) S S Kapoor, will also investigate two other blasts that took place in Panipat on January 16 and May 13.
The government has also decided to seek the help of National Investigation Agency (NIA) in probing today's incident, a police spokesperson said.
At least 12 passengers were injured in the "low intensity" blast that took place in Pipli area.
A case was registered at Police Station Sadar, Thanesar, Kurukshetra, against the earlier blasts.
The spokesperson said the SIT may co-opt any gazetted or non-gazetted officer from State Crime Branch, GRP and district police, Kurukshetra and fortnightly progress reports would be submitted to the Police Headquarters.
