The Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences said this during his visit to two institutes of national importance -- National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) and Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB) in Mohali today, an official release said here.
While interacting with the faculty, Harsh Vardhan counselled researchers to shift from routine to out-of-the-box thinking and to dream big so that the research outcome could be translated to great innovations.
He said that there should be a method for scientists to set timeframes for achieving their targets.
He later planted two saplings 'Shami Vrikash' and 'Pride of India' at the upcoming main campus of both the institutes in Knowledge City, Sector-81, Mohali.
