Haryana allots industrial plots to set up 4 projects

Industrial plots have been allotted to set up four projects involving a total investment of Rs 300 crore, Haryana's Finance and Industries Minister Capt. Abhimanyu said today.
The Minister said that the allotment of these plots has been cleared by a high level plot allotment committee headed by Principal Secretary Industries, Devender Singh in various industrial estates developed by Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).
These plots are under the prestigious category involving capital investment of Rs 30 crore and above, he said in a release here.
Abhimanyu said that that it was on May 26, 2015 that the state government uploaded consultation paper on Industrial Investment and Business Promotion Policy 2015 to seek guidance, advice and suggestions from all stakeholders, including prospective entrepreneurs, existing entrepreneurs, industry associations, academia, public representative and the concerned citizens.
The consultation paper is open for suggestions, he said.
He said that meanwhile the government has received a positive feedback on the consultation paper and considering this, it allotted plots to four projects under the prestigious category.
These included one industrial plot each at Industrial Model Township (IMT) Faridabad, IMT Bawal, Industrial Estate at Rai and Food Park, Saha. The projects are from diverse fields of milk product, multi-commodity temperature controlled warehouse and cold chain infrastructure; fruit drink product and a bio-diesel from waste products.
Abhimanyu further said that five acres of land has been allotted to Banaskantha District Co-operative Milk Producers in IMT at Faridabad for their expansion project to supply milk and prepare milk products.
These products are marketed under the brand name 'Amul - The Taste of India'. The estimated cost of this expansion project is Rs 104.13 crore.
Another plot measuring two acres has been allotted to Balmer Lawrie and Co. Ltd., a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for setting up of multi-commodity temperature controlled warehouse and cold chain infrastructure in Industrial Estate, Rai.
The estimated cost of this project is Rs 35.70 crore.
He said that Manpasand Beverages, has been allotted four acres of land in Food Park, Saha to manufacture fruit drink product.
The estimated cost of this project is Rs 100 crore, he said.
Similarly, Bio D Energy India Private Limited has been allotted four acres of land in IMT Bawal to manufacture bio-diesel from waste products. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 56 crores, the Minister added.
