Haryana govt approves amendments to R&R policy

The Haryana Government today approved amendments to the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy to revise the floor rates for lands which are either part of a river bed or wetland.
Rates for such lands will now be one-third of the floor rates notified earlier under the policy, officials said.
As per the policy, existing floor rate for land situated within the notified limits of Gurgaon Municipal Corporation is Rs 40 lakh per acre, whereas it is Rs 30 lakh per acre for the land situated within the notified limits of Faridabad Municipal Corporation.
