A Haryana government delegation led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is in Singapore to woo investment into the state, showcasing the state as "industry-friendly" with ease of doing business.
The chief minister, who is leading the nine-member delegation, today addressed the Indian diaspora and invited them to set up enterprises in the state.
He assured that his government would extend all necessary support so that their enterprises could flourish and grow, and welcomed all the investors to come to Haryana.
Khattar also commended the Indian diaspora for making their mark in Singapore.
He shared details of the mega projects in the state, including the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway and aviation hub at Hisar, which, he said, have the potential to transform the state in the coming years.
The chief minister highlighted the major initiatives planned, such as the leasing of panchayat lands for industrial use and revising the power rates by at least Re 1.
He also talked about development of Skill Development University in Palwal. He pointed out that Haryana ranked amongst the top five states in the country in terms of ease of doing business.
The delegation was earlier welcomed by Indian High Commissioner Jawed Ashraf.
Industries and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel talked about the potential that Haryana has for investment, besides other support through incentives and ease of doing business.
