Haryana govt to purchase 600 new buses

Haryana Government has decided to purchase 600 new buses, thus increasing their number to 4,600 in the Roadways fleet.
Also, 76 water coolers and 119 Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems will be installed at various depots of Haryana Roadways in the state, an official release said here today.
While 300 of these new buses would have BS (Bharat Stage)-IV norms, an equal number of buses would have BS-III emission norms.
The Transport department has set a target to increase the number of buses to 5,000 by the end of 2015-16.
