The Haryana minister also claimed that a lot of water had been wasted due to Delhi Government's negligence.
Haryana has not reduced even a single drop of Delhi's share of water, a statement released said quoting Dhankar.
"Delhi is claiming that the water level in their water treatment plant has been reduced whereas today Delhi has been found misusing the same water," Dhankar said.
He added that as per the officers of the Haryana government, 700 cusec water has been released to Delhi from Sonipat through Munak Canal today and 275 cusec water from Delhi Branch.
He also claimed Haryana was getting untreated water from Delhi and suggested that Delhi should release treated water in Yamuna. The water which has been released by Delhi is not appropriate for irrigating fields, he added.
The statement also added Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Dhankar will meet Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh tomorrow regarding special package for farmers and crop insurance scheme.
As per the statement, Chief Minister Khattar would also meet Union Minister of Rural Development Birender Singh regarding water and sanitation and Adarsh Gaon Yojana.
