Several wheat bags of Food and Supply department meant to be distributed among BPL families were also recovered, a police spokesperson said.
The recovered cylinders are of Bharat and Indane gas companies, police said, adding that a pick up van was also seized from the godown.
Acting swiftly on a tip off, the police raided the godown owned by Prem Sarup Aggarwal, resident of Rampura village.
A case has been registered against Aggarwal, who managed to escape, on the complaint of the Inspector concerned of the Food and Supply Department here.
