The approval has been sought under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).
This was informed in second meeting of State Level Steering Committee on JNNURM chaired by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here today.
The four mega projects include improvement of road network in Faridabad town, revamping of sewerage system and sewage treatment works in Ballabgarh Zone and Sanitary Landfill Scheme for Faridabad Town at an estimated cost of Rs 54.20 crore.
He also directed that the capacity of Solid Waste Management Plant for Faridabad at Bandhwari should be increased from 600 tonnes per day to 1000 TPD.
On this, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad assured Hooda that it would be completed by year end.
Hooda, according to an official release here, directed that Solid Waste Management projects should be prepared for Gurgaon-Sohna and Manesar.
