Haryana teacher transfer policy to be made rational

Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma today directed officials to formulate a "rational" transfer policy for teachers so that the teacher- student ratio remains balanced in all schools.
In a meeting with the Education Department officials here today the Minister discussed various points related to the transfer policy, according to government press release.
The officials submitted a draft transfer policy to Sharma who directed them to finalise the draft of the policy at the earliest so that it could be implemented after consultation with the chief minister.
Those present in the meeting included Education Principal Secretary T C Gupta, Secondary Education Director M L Kaushik, and Elementary Education Director Rohtash Kharb.
