Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today announced that the state government would fill up 50,000 group D posts and would also increase the monthly social security pension amount.
Addressing a public meeting at Barwala in Hisar district today, he said 50,000 Group D posts will be filled up in the state on merit-basis only.
The monthly social security pension amount would be soon increased from Rs 1,400 to Rs 1,600 and it will be made Rs 2,000 per month from January, 2019, Khattar said.
He announced projects to the tune of Rs 100 crore for Barwala Assembly Constituency and said an airport would be built in an area of about 3,200 acres in Hisar district, an official release said.
A new secretariat building will be built in Barwala sub-division and a 50-bedded hospital would be set up, it quoted Khattar as saying.
Compensations for crop damage have been increased and steps are being taken to make Haryana a kerosene-free state by providing cooking gas to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, the Chief Minister said.
He asked people to pay their electricity bills to avail benefits under the 'Mhara Gaon Jagmag Gaon' scheme, and said his government is working for the all-round development of all districts without any discrimination and following the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption.
Finance Minister Abhimanyu, said the state government is working on the principles of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and 'Haryana Ek - Haryanvi Ek'.
"While some political leaders had tried to divide the people of the state on the pretext of demanding reservation for their own political benefits, they could not mislead them," he said.
