Justice Rajiv Shakdher said that the two officers -- former Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS) J B Singh and serving Registrar and CEO of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board Shurbir Singh - could appear in person or through their lawyers before the Privilege Committee, whose meeting was scheduled today.
Advocate Vivek Chib, appearing for the two bureaucrats, said they sought quashing of the notice by Privilege Committee and challenged the jurisdiction of Question and Reference (Q and R) Committee, which had made a complaint against them.
Regarding the other two IAS officers, the court had yesterday said it cannot pass any order as they had not approached it.
