HC wants property declarations of govt officials and employees

Jharkhand High Court today asked the state government to place details of property declarations of its officials and employees in the court and begin the exercise from the departments of Home and Transport.
Hearing a PIL filed by 'Citizen Cause', acting Chief Justice D N Patel and Jusitce S Chandrasekhar said the departments of Home and Transport should become a model to other departments by showing details of their property declarations first.
The bench also ordered the government to give a list as to which officials and employees of the departments have not yet filed their declarations and what action it has initiated against them.
