Health department official arrested for taking bribe

Sleuths of State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) nabbed Junior Assistant Sat Paul Sharma while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 from one person for issuing him a medical certificate, officials said.

Sharma was posted as Junior Assistant in the office of Block Medical Officer (BMO) at Batote.
