"The minimum temperature at 8.30 AM was 24.8 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal," a MeT official said.
The humidity was recorded at 94 per cent and the city recieved 45.22 mm rainfall overnight.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky with possiblity of heavy rains in some areas towards the evening.
"Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at around 33 and 24 degrees Celsius," the official added.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum had settled at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
