Help desk for exporters being set up in FIEO offices

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs is setting up a help desk at the offices of Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) to address the issues faced by exporters.

Chairman of FIEO (southern region) A Sakthivel, in a press release, thanked the board for the help desk which would be established in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Coimbatore and Hyderabad.

The help desk would handle issues related to ports for the exporters and also the integrated good and service tax-related issues, the FIEO said in the release.
