Heroin seized, 1 arrested
The police have seized over 230 grams of heroin at Berawtlang area in Aizawl and arrested a Myanmarese national in this connection, Police said.
Police said that the contraband worth around Rs 9 lakh was allegedly seized from the possession of the man, identified as Lalchhungi of Leisen in Myanmar, last evening.
A criminal case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 was registered against the accused.
