Heroin worth Rs 1.5 crore seized

Two persons have been arrested and 900 grams of heroin, with an estimated value of about Rs 1.5 crore in the international blackmarket, allegedly recovered from them.
The duo was arrested after their car was stopped at a naka for regular checking at Latwala near Diffripat village, 8 kms from here, and the narcotic was found, police said today.
The accused were identified as Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of Mandi, and Ashok Kumar.
A case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
