Heroin worth Rs 38 lakh seized, 1 arrested

Police arrested a person and recovered 383 gram heroin, worth about Rs 38 lakh, from his possession here today.
According to circle officer of police Arun Kumar Singh, policemen from Sikhera police station, acting on a tip-off, intercepted a man riding motorbike and recovered heroin worth Rs 38 lakh from him.
He was identified as Sunil Kumar, a railway employee, the police officer said, adding that the motorbike was found to be stolen.
