Hike Wallet crosses 5 mn monthly transactions

Hike Messenger today said its wallet has crossed the 5-million monthly transactions milestone.
"Hike Wallet has seen a growth of over 30 per cent month-over-month in just 5 months from launch of Hike 5.0 and Wallet. This makes Hike Wallet the fastest growing Wallet in India...Hike Wallet crosses 5 million transactions per month," it said in a statement.
It added that Hike has launched a campaign to further increase transactions as well as bringing more wallet users onboard.

Cab-hailing app Ola has partnered cricketer Virat Kohli for its #FarakPadtaHai campaign for raising awareness about congestion and pollution issues.

As part of the campaign, Kohli will be seen promoting adoption of shared mobility solutions like metro trains, buses, and Ola Share, through his social media platforms.

In a video message, he says: "...Agar pollution ke khilaf match jeetna hai, Toh hamme ek saath khelna hoga... let's come together and share our rides whenever we can".

Amplus Energy Solutions has partnered Indian Army to provide solar lamps to the people of Gurez valley in Jammu and Kashmir.
Gurez is a valley located in the high Himalayas, about 123 kms from Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, India. At about 8,000 feet (2,400 m) above sea level, the valley is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is one of the strategic locations for The Indian Army, a company statement said.

Lack of electricity supply, combined with inclement weather, leads to increased hardships for the people of Gurez, it said.
"Solar power can play a key role in providing power to isolated regions which get limited electricity from the government. With this project in Gurez, we are committed to more such projects so to do our part for the society," Sanjeev Aggarwal, MD and CEO, Amplus Energy said.
