Himachal govt bans transfers, postings in education dept

Himachal Pradesh government today imposed a complete ban on transfers in education department with immediate effect, an official spokesman said here.
Only in cases of compelling circumstances and unavoidable administrative reasons, the transfer and postings proposals will be processed and given effect with the prior approval of Administrative Department and the Chief Minister, he said.
