The state government has been at loggerheads with Himachal Pradesh Cricket association (HPCA), headed by BJP MP, Anurag Thakur and cases against HPCA are pending in the court and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had repeatedly said that it was a commercial body and should pay for security.
Confirming that "the security fee for this international match in lieu of providing security to the players would be exempted", Chief Minister today said that he has also accepted the invitation of the HPCA to attend the match.
"I have accepted the offer of HPCA and will be attending the T20 match," said Virbhadra Singh said.
