Hisar records hottest temp at 43 deg C in Har, Pb

Heat wave continued to sweep through most parts of Punjab and Haryana today, with Hisar recording the hottest temperature at 43 degrees Celsius.
Maximum temperature today rose by several notches above the normal in both the states.
Among other places in Haryana, Bhiwani recorded maximum temperature at 42.8 degrees Celsius, Karnal at 42 degrees Celsius, four notches above the normal and Narnaul at 41 degrees Celsius, a MeT department report said today.
Ambala had a high of 40.4 degrees Celsius, up by two notches above the normal.
In Punjab, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala recorded the maximum temperature at 41.2 degrees Celsius, 41.6 degrees Celsius and 41 degrees Celsius respectively.
UT Chandigarh recorded their maximum at 40.4 degrees Celsius, up by two notches above the normal.
