Hit by truck, traffic sergeant dies

A traffic sergeant, who was hit by a mini truck in the city on Friday, succumbed to his injuries today, the police said.
The traffic sergeant was identified as Jewel Saha of South West Traffic Guard.
The driver of the mini truck was absconding but its owner was arrested, the police said.
Kolkata police could initiate a murder case in this regard tomorrow.
