The court of Suri CJM Indranil Chatterjee had rejected Hitunnesha Bibi's bail prayer last Friday as the police failed to submit the case diary, prompting the Chief Judicial Magistrate to order submission of the same by July 13.
Along with Hitunnesha Bibi, another woman Najera Bibi, was also granted bail. The two were arrested last Sunday for blocking road and allegedly attacking the police at Sattor village.
Four others, including Hitunnesha Bibi's husband Sabur Seikh, who were also arrested in connection with the incident of road block, were not given bail today.
