The Delhi-Hoshiarpur weekly express train, flagged off by Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Santosh Chowdhary, will depart from Old Delhi station at 11.5 PM every Saturday to reach Hoshiarpur at 7.10 AM the next day.
In the return direction, the express train will depart from Hoshiarpur on every Sunday at 10.30 PM to reach Old Delhi at 7.10 AM the next day.
The train will have stoppages at Jalandhar Cantt, Phagwara, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt and Panipat, railway officials said.
The train has one AC II tier, two AC III tier, five sleeper class, six second class coaches besides two second class disabled friendly coach cum luggage van.
The one-side fare of the general coach is Rs 109.
Besides the Minister, senior railway officials were present at the station on the flagging off ceremony.
