The judge gave the direction to the hospital authorities following a prayer by the NIA counsel who pleaded that the accused was not in a position to be interrogated as he was in hospital and unaware of his medical condition which was needed in the interest of the investigation.
The NIA counsel also submitted that the agency team had visited other places like Birbhum, Nadia and Murshidabad districts, besides Burdwan where the blast took place on October 2.
The court also granted to the NIA 14 days' judicial custody of the accused Razia and Alima and 10 days' police custody of Hassem Mollah.
