Hot, humid day in Delhi with traces of rain
Press Trust of India New Delhi Slight rains in some parts of Delhi failed to provide much needed respite to people as the city witnessed a hot and humid day with temperatures remaining above normal.
The maximum temperature was recorded two degrees above normal at 36 deg Celsius while the minimum was 25.8 deg C, a notch above normal, the MeT department said.
The maximum humidity was recorded at 87 per cent while the minimum was 52 per cent, it said.
Although some parts of the national capital witnessed slight rains but most of the areas remained dry.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky in the city tomorrow with possibility of light rains or thundershowers in some areas.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain around 36 and 26 deg C respectively.
