HP Inc unveils new commercial printers, adds sub-category

Personal computers and printing major HP Inc today unveiled 15 business printers across different product categories, terming it as its biggest commercial printers launch in 10 years.
"Today is our biggest commercial printers launch in 10 years... HP is accelerating our efforts to design and innovate for customers with the mission to engineer experiences that amaze," HP Inc President- Asia Pacific and Japan Richard Bailey told reporters here.
He said the company is "reinventing printing" for every business, whether they are small medium businesses who need to be more productive and secure at an affordable price-point, or organisations grappling with the fast evolving security risks in their complex network.

Today, the firm also added a new sub-category 'HP PageWide' to the existing sub-categories OfficeJet and Laser Jet.
HP Inc General Manager, Printing Systems, Asia Pacific and Japan Ng Tian-Chong said the company is enhancing the design of its printers across all portfolios to meet the changing requirements of its customers.
The new products include HP PageWide Enterprise Color MFP 586 which is expected to be available in May at a starting price of Rs 1,50,000 and HP PageWide Enterprise Color 556 at Rs 71,400.
The PageWide Pro 500 series is expected start at a price of Rs 51,600, while PageWide 400 series is expected tagged at Rs 45,580.
