Acting on an intelligence input, a police team was yesterday rushed to the field and it recovered the cache of arms and ammunitions from there, Station House Officer of Patiala police station, Jaswinder Singh Tiwana said.
They recovered one 30 bore rifle, 230 live cartridges (9mm), three hand grenades and four RCL bombs from the fields, the officer said.
The matter is being investigated, the SHO said.
